Welcome to the fifth issue of CEO Monthly Magazine in 2018, where we cast a spotlight on the most recent news and updates from across the globe.
In recent news, Kaiser Permanente, the nation’s largest integrated health systems, announced on the 18th May that they were committing up to $200 million, through their Thriving ‘Thriving Communities Fund’, to address housing stability and homelessness. The organization’s initial focus will be on preventing displacement or homelessness of lower- and middle-income households in rapidly changing communities; reducing homelessness by ensuring access to supportive housing; and making affordable homes healthier and more environmentally sound.
In this month’s edition, we discover more about GJ Building and Contracting (GJ), which is an Australian owned and operated building company with headquarters at Sydney Olympic Park. Recently, we spoke to CEO, George Boumoussa, who explains more about his role and his subsequent accomplishments throughout the years.
Elsewhere in this edition, Freeman Beauty recently announced the appointment of Bill George as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Following the success of April’s first National Face Mask Month, Mr. George will join the company immediately following his previous post at Markwins Beauty Brands.
Also, Cool Clean Technologies was founded in 2001 by Mr. Jon Wikstrom, whose military and civilian career included the development of many CO2 based applications for manufacturing process improvement. We profiled both Mr. Wikstrom and Cool Clean Technologies as we looked to discover more about their innovative ways.
Here at CEO Monthly, we hope that you enjoy reading this insightful issue and look forward to hearing from you.
