And with thousands of accidents happening every day in Australia, Alex saw an opportunity to make a difference. This was the start of Carbiz Replacement Cars, a people-first business designed to help Australian drivers who are not at fault get back on the road after an accident. With extensive experience across several industries, Alex is able to bring unique insights to the company. For instance, his role as a real estate agent in 1998 taught him the importance of playing close attention to market changes and evolving client expectations for a company’s ongoing success. After his time in real estate, Alex joined St George Bank as a Senior Personal Banker. This experience gave him a strong understanding of financial management and improved his customer service skills. In 2013, he decided to strike out on his own with the creation of Flash Finance. Alex then expanded his portfolio by launching Real Waste Solutions and Your Next Move Real Estate. With these successes, he was ready to take the next big step in his career. And so in 2016, Alex cofounded Carbiz.
