He developed a deep understanding of the industry; experience he would effectively leverage in later years. Prior to his position with Privacy Culture, Steve held a role as Interim DPO at the Bank of England, where he provided GDPR assurance and privacy leadership services. This interim position followed his role as Group DPO and Information Security Officer for John Lewis Partnership, in which he was responsible for the Information Security and Data Privacy policies that enable the business to protect the personal data of their customers and partners. His detailed career within the industry of data protection has well-equipped Steve to steer Privacy Culture to certain success.
