Established as a general engineering business in Booysens, Johannesburg in 1932, the company continues to grow from strength to strength. This partnership continues to flourish today, seeing Rapid Allweiler established as a leading pump manufacturer and supplier in the South African market. Caroline Houghton, Mr Hindry’s granddaughter, took over the reigns as Managing Director in 2004. Rapid Allweiler’s product range is specifically engineered to meet market demands with over 220 years of combined national and international pump and engineering experience.
