Li joins ALM after serving as Partner & Co-Founder of Valence Mar- keting Infrastructure since 2018, where he served as a Martech expert, using a data-driven ap- proach to help clients audit cur- rent state, design digital technol- ogy strategies, create a technical solution eco-system and deliver actionable roadmaps. Li previously held various leader- ship positions at L’Oreal, Coach, GE Capital to design and imple- ment large B2B and B2C digital technology solutions. Additionally, Li was a part of News Marketing America, a Newscorp company as the VP of Digital Platforms & Products, where he was respon- sible for the design, engineering, and delivery of digital products, technologies, and platforms. “Jimi has proven expertise in digital information infrastructure and product development,” said Bill Carter, President and CEO of ALM Media. “I expect he will quickly contribute to revenue growth in our 3 business units: information services, marketing services, and events.” In the CTO position, Li will focus on developing and executing ALM’s product strategy, ensuring the infrastructure supports ALM’s current needs and future direction and considering new approaches for delivering value to ALM’s cus- tomers. “I am looking forward to taking on a leadership role with ALM,” said Jimi Li, Chief Technology Officer. “It is a very exciting time as the business continues to capitalize on new technology platforms. Having gone on to lead Telefonica Brazil as CEO, Amos most recently served as Telecom Italia’s CEO and General Manager and holds several board positions in the telecoms, banking and media sectors. Amos is based in London and has just been appointed as a Senior Partner and head of the new full-service digital retail arm of BTG Pactual, the largest investment bank in Latin America and the Caribbean, taking on the challenge to transform the traditional retail bank into a digital platform.
