Even before he co-founded TestPro in 2020, Anil’s career saw him work at the very forefront of this industry, heading up the global teams behind the complex IT transformation projects of several multi-billion-dollar companies. These highpressure environments would prove invaluable in helping Anil to grow as a leader. Today, Anil believes his leadership style to be defined by its firmness, fairness, and openness. “I believe transparency is one of the key factors in leadership,” he explains, “if something is not working then it needs to be raised and addressed – as a team.” Communication and teamwork are both priorities across the company more widely, with these contributing to the excellent internal culture that TestPro has nurtured – a culture revolving around quality both inside and out. Having witnessed firsthand that many large IT consultancies were leaving a lot to be desired in the quality department, Anil knew things could be done better. This attitude led to the creation of TestPro almost five years ago, which fills in many of these industry blanks by adopting a unique thought leadership approach. Even with this textbook approach in tow, Anil has still faced some challenges, as any founder or executive will at some stage. Similarly, like many of his fellow professionals, these difficulties revolved around keeping up pace with the constant advancements in technology, especially AI. Having now strategically invested in an AI testing service, these concerns are no longer warranted, as TestPro has been able to grow its clientele and diversify its solutions. The previously mentioned TestPro Innovation Fund is a great example of this. “We have had an amazing first quarter at TestPro, we are bringing on new high-profile corporate clients and we have facilitated investments for several start-ups and that will continue throughout the year.” Reflecting on the next stage of his journey, Anil Pande tells us that he plans to continue to grow and improve TestPro Consulting for as long as he finds it a rewarding endeavour. Since Anil is constantly learning new skills across his role, he does not expect to tire of it any time soon.
