Sloane was inspired to found DIA when she was hit by a car on her bike training for triathlons and spent years trying to recover from the mental and physical stress of life-changing injuries. DIA has invented technology to measure cortisol – “the stress hormone” – in real time from 2 drops of saliva to improve mental and physical health. DIA is backed by HAX SOSV and has been awarded $3.25+M from the US DoD. Sloane continues to compete as a top age group middle and long-distance triathlete.
