A holiday to Kenya led to an unexpected adventure on Lamu island. With lost luggage and a need for new clothes, the discovery of thin cotton shirts perfect for the sweltering heat sparked an idea and The Lamu Collection was born. From shirts, we quickly expanded to dresses and other sun-inspired African accessories. Now, 2.5 years later, the brand boasts 2 shops in South Africa and 3 in Spain. What began as a mishap turned into a thriving business, inspired by Lamu’s beauty and simplicity.
